Rubin IPTV Player — Frequently Asked Questions

Open the app and tap Add Playlist on the login/home screen. You can add your playlist in three ways:

Xtream Codes: Enter your server URL, username and password provided by your IPTV provider.

M3U URL: Paste the direct M3U link from your provider.

Stalker Portal: Enter the portal URL and your MAC address.

Once added, the app will load your channels, movies and series automatically.
Rubin IPTV Player supports all major IPTV formats:

Xtream Codes API — most common format, full EPG, VOD and Series support
M3U / M3U8 — standard playlist files via URL
Stalker Middleware — portal-based access

Any IPTV provider that offers one of these formats is compatible with the app.
Try the following steps:

1. Check your internet connection — IPTV streams require a stable, fast connection (at least 10 Mbps for HD).
2. Try a different channel — if only one channel is affected, the issue is on your provider's side.
3. Reload the playlist — go to Settings and refresh your playlist.
4. Change the buffer profile — in the player settings, try switching between Fast, Balanced and Smooth buffer modes.
5. Contact your IPTV provider — if many channels are down, it is likely a server issue with your provider.
The EPG guide loads automatically if your IPTV provider supports it. Inside the player, tap the screen to reveal controls and tap the EPG icon to open the program guide. You will see the current and upcoming shows for all channels. If your provider supports catch-up, past programs will be marked and tappable to replay.
